What is this 'video republic' other than a more marketed ad of youtube? A lot of the vids that come with it lack the weight of their arguments and research. Their truth is questioned and is learning really all about staring at a screen at someone express their own facts. Why listen to those without experince or understanding? Mainstream organaztion may be biased but it is a lot more informative than those clips. I'll stick to reading the daily Times (UK) they conect with young quite well.

If this video made its text easy to read instead of trying to be all "edgy" with it, it might actually express something of online video's communicative potential. What I caught seems more pretentious fluff than inspiring or helpful information.

Vgetful, I agree with you in that those clips you refer to as "lacking the weight of their arguments" are indeed that, but I don't understand your comparison between watching those and reading The Daily Times; they're two completely different media formats - one aimed at a specific demographic with research and editorial clout behind it being completely superior to the other format produced by a 16 year old British guy in his bedroom, OF COURSE THEY DIFFER...

My parents have Lebanese friends, I certainly don't think they're terrorists. I also used to live in the basement apartment of an Iranian family, and I don't think they're terrorists, either. Whoever thinks that all people from certain countries are terrorists are just paranoid people full of shit, just like in the time of WWII, when people didn't trust those of German or Japanese origin. Just ignore them, they're looking to make you upset.
