This is a great cover, but it has to be The Knife for me...
Of course, they've got quite a different feel but what lets jose's cover down is the bridge IMHO - the bridge on the original is my favourite part and it's a bit of a dissapointment here..

i don't know what everyone is talking about. the knife's version is good. jose's version is good. and to compare the to is ludicrous because even though they're in essence the same song, they're presented differently. i don't even know why i read youtube comments they just piss me off.

Just because things are presented differently does not mean that they should not be compared... what a ridiculous thing to say on your part. The point is, in my opinion, Gonzalez' version is awful and the knife's version is one of my favourite songs in a long time.

you don't get what i'm saying. if you don't like acoustic/vocal/folk music TO BEGIN WITH, than your opinion is going to be negative right out of the cut. that's why i said to compare the two is like comparing apples and oranges, my friend. if you compare the knife's version and jose's version than you're going to get what you see on the comments page now...like blind people fighting on roller skates (alot of swinging and missing) trying to exclaim which version is better.

It always seems more real when somebody makes a emotional acoustic version of a rock/indi/elecro whatever song, but the truth is, The Knife found the melody and the lyrics, there for they are god. Thank you. ps I do like this version a little...
