and to think that is only a category 3 hurricane
it started as a 5 went down to a 3 when it hit land and it was amazingly horrifying i have sooooooooooo much more respect for the people down southi live in the north east so i have never seen anything like that that was the worst thing i have ever seen. i feel soooooo bad for the people who lost
their homes :/ that is soooooo depressing i feel like im going to cry :/

The storm was a 3 when it hit us, nobody thought it would be like it was. the worst part was the aftermath no food or water for weeks. I lost my home, waiting in lines for food, gas for hours on end. I think that was the worst part. Now gustava and ike we need a break

it probably won't be a 4 more like a 3, and will quickly weaken quickly once any part of it comes on land. It will be bad though, the wind pushes everything down, and to the side.

Floridians say something similar about people who live on the West Coast. Why would you live where there is Earthquakes and Volcanoes? At least people who live where Hurricanes are a problem know when they are coming and can get prepared. You don't know when an Earthquake is going to hit. Hurricanes are the safest of all Natural Disasters if you get prepared.

Every place has unique natural disasters. California had wildfires and earthquakes, the midwest has tornadoes, the northeast, the mid-atlantic region and the rockies have blizzards in the winter months! It doesn't matter where you live something will fuck up your day!
