I got a five string, trying to learn some of this on it but it's hard. I can't even get the other strings to note when you hit it down up with thumb. This video is like as clear as a pick but maybe it helps to have a nicer bass than an OLP?

I found that it's about getting the right delay between the fingers, to get solid 16th notes with straight timing, so u do a single pop motion but the fingers follow one after the other. The strange bit is the way the fingers are spaced feels odd, feels like too large a spacing, more then comfortable/normal.

what i think its best is how he can not only play the notes, but play what seems like an accompanying rhythm with his right hand, which is basically what he's showing in this video.
Lemme tell you people, my thumbs do this wierd thing where i can pop them like, inside my hand and then back out, and it helps so much when i have my finger on a string i'm trying to hold down then hit the one beside it, i can kind of just jerk it over really fast lol, its really useful to have, i
